After years of development I am happy to announce stillOS 10 Preview (The Becoming).
Despite being the first version, we are tracking RHEL's versioning scheme, hense the 10.
For all the available features check the home page of the website, although note, stillTerminal is not yet available in the preview. I also recommend watching my LinuxFest Northwest talk about stillOS:
Here is a list of known issues in this preview:
- stillCenter
- Not Many Apps (We will be curated apps in the coming days)
- Missing Icons (should be fixed tomorrow)
- Search is laggy
- Install percent doesn't account for dependencies
- stillControl
- Thinks you are using a custom layout instead of the default on launch
- GDM
- Uses Red Hat font, when the rest of the system switches back to the vanilla GNOME font
The final version of 10 will drop once we finish stillTerminal, populate the app store, port the welcome screen from risiOS, and add support for NVIDIA graphics.
